Enroll your child in the Imagination Library and give them the gift of reading….free!

Every month, until their fifth birthday, your child will receive a free book appropriate for their age.

Reading is the pathway to a brighter future for both your child and our community. Spending time reading to your child is a wise investment. It helps them develop essential skills leading to school readiness and future academic success. And you will spend quality time you never forget. If your child lives in Bosque Country, register to receive a free book a month from the Imagination Library.

Who Is Eligible?

Children under the age of five who live in Bosque Country.

What Are My Responsibilities?

Be a resident of Bosque Country.

Go to www.LDDIF.org and complete the registration form by the authorized adult.

Visit our website anytime your mailing address changes. Books are mailed to the address listed on the account. You must contact the Leah Demaree Douglas IMAGINATION Foundation at www.LDDIF.org to update your new address.

Read with your child and have fun!

When Will I Receive Books?

Eight to ten weeks after your registration form has been entered on the website, books will begin arriving ay your home and will continue until your child turns five or you move out of Bosque Country.

How Can I Help?

Do you know a preschool child in Bosque Country who is not receiving books for the Imagination Library? Give their parent or caregiver the website and encourage them to fill out a registration form or go online to enroll in the program. Telling them about this free-to-the-family program can make a huge difference in their future. If you know of a business, organization, or individual who would like to donate funds to support this program in Bosque Country, donations can be made on our website, www.LDDIF.org or sent to:

How Does It Work?

It sounds almost too simple to be true, but by reading regularly with your children during their preschool years, you are giving them the biggest boost toward a successful education they will ever get.

Leah Demaree Douglas IMAGINATION Foundation and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library can help your child love to read just by having print books at home, reading yourself, and setting aside time daily for your children to read. Every child will have books of their very own, at no cost to you, thanks to Leah Demaree Douglas IMAGINATION Foundation and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home.

Your child can look forward to the new and exciting reading adventures from the Imagination Library until they turn five years old as long as you live within Bosque Country.
